Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect’s vehicle wanted in a fatal crash at 6900 Telephone Road that occurred about 5:10 a.m. on July 31.
The vehicle is described as 2011 to 2013 white Dodge Charger with heavy front end damage to the bumper. The front bumper and grill may also be removed. A surveillance photo of the vehicle is attached to this news release.
A photo of the victim, Joseph Hearn, 42, is also attached to this news release..
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officers M. Mathews and A. Gomez reported:
A white Dodge Charger was traveling northbound on Telephone Road and struck Mr. Hearn, who was crossing Telephone Road, not in a marked crosswalk. The driver of the Charger did not stop to provide medical assistance and fled the scene. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Hearn to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated Hearn may have been struck by multiple vehicles.
