Houston police have learned the identities of two victims involved in a fatal crash that occurred at 14300 South Main Street (U.S. Highway 90) about 10:15 p.m. on Monday (September 9).
One male victim, Gerard Duhon, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene. His twin brother, Jerald Duhon, was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical, but stable condition.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer A. Chheav reported:
The driver of a maroon Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound at the above address when she struck the two pedestrians who were in the moving lanes of traffic.
The driver left the scene and went to a nearby gas station where she attempted to clean her car. While there, she contacted family members who transported her back to the site of the crash. The driver was examined by an HPD DWI Task Force officer and showed no signs of intoxication. She was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time, pending further investigation.
