Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 12700 Clay Road about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday (September 10).
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer J. Best reported:
The victim was either walking or standing in a dimly lit moving lane of traffic at the above address when he was struck by a tractor-trailer truck. The driver remained at the scene, showed no signs intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
