WHAT: House fire with civilian fatalities.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a house heavily involved in fire with powerlines down on one side. They were unable to enter the home due to the fire conditions and integratory of the structure. Once the crews reset the fire, they coordinated a primary and secondary search with a report of people trapped inside. The house was ventilated with fans and crews found the reported woman and child deceased inside the home. The 31-year-old woman had rescued her 9-year-old son and 6 year-old daughter and went back to rescue her 1-year-old child. HFD Arson investigators are investigating the cause and origin of the fire. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 30, 58, 15, 31, 34 and Heavy Rescue 11.
