Suspect Charged, Wanted in Shooting at 10751 Meadowglen Lane

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a woman at 10751 Meadowglen Lane about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 20).

The suspect, Victoria Lashaye Frohm, 22, is charged with aggravated assault of a family member and assault of a family member impeding breath in the 176th State District Court.  She is not in custody.  A 2022 booking photo of Frohm is attached to this news release.

The victim, 20, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. Wright reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and were advised the female victim was shot in the leg by her ex-girlfriend, Frohm.  Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.

Officers learned the victim and Frohm argued and ended their relationship on the phone.  Frohm then arrived at the victim’s apartment and was invited inside to discuss their relationship issues.  Another argument ensued and turned physical when Frohm impeded the breath of the victim and fired a shot, striking the victim.

Frohm left the location, possibly driving a dark blue 2021 Volkswagen Passat.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and two felony charges were accepted and filed on Frohm.
