Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 3700 Tierwester Street about 12:40 p.m. on August 17.
The suspect, Edward Domon Brown, 44, is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court. He is not in custody. Two photos of Brown, one of them a 2018 booking photo, are attached to this news release.
He is accused in the killing of Horatio Rodriguez Harris, 37.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Harris unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased. The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle immediately after the shooting.
A preliminary investigation indicated Harris and the suspect knew each other and had recent arguments.
Further investigation identified Brown as the suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged on Saturday (August 19).
