WHAT: Structure fire.
WHEN: December 26, 2023, at 5:48 a.m.
WHERE: 3300 block of Nettleton St. 77004.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a structure fully involved in fire, collapsing shortly thereafter. They made a defensive attack and protected a nearby exposure. Two additional HFD units were requested, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested and once their investigation was completed, firefighters conducted overhaul. 29 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 25, 8, 7 and 18.
