WHAT: Storage building fire.
WHEN: April 17, 2023 at 2:16 a.m.
WHERE: 7710 Long Point Rd. 77055.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $1,350,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $450,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke and fire coming from a storage building with extension to a main structure. They made an attack on the fire on conducted a primary search. The fire was controlled and extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 15, 4, 5, 38, 50, 62, 57 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
