WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: April 17, 2023 at 10:36 a.m.
WHERE: 900 block of Saint Clair St. 77088.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the home was ventilated. A dog was found, and crews attempted to revive it. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished with most of the damage to the kitchen area. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause. Firefighters from Stations 67, 15, 31, 58 and 30 responded to this incident.
