INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $1,035,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $65,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire in the wall of a restaurant. They opened the walls to extinguish the fire and access the void spaces, extending into the structural support members. A fan was used to ventilate the smoke from the business and a primary search was completed with no one found. A food inspector and the power company were notified. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 37 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 31, 30, 58 and 34.
