Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 1900 Nance Street about 5:40 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 5).
The identity of the victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Stringer and A. Graf reported:
Officers, investigators and Harris County Precinct 6 Constable deputies were searching an area near the bayou at the above address and located the female’s body near the bayou. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The woman’s cause and manner of death are pending results of an autopsy.
