Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 14600 U.S. Highway 90 about 11:30 a.m. today (November 5).
The victim, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers E. Neal and J. Roberts reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address. The victim told officers he was driving his vehicle in the southbound lanes when he and the other driver exchanged words and gestures. The suspect then fired shots at the victim’s vehicle and the victim was struck one time in the hip. The victim then flagged down a passing motorist, who drove the victim to a nearby hospital. It was determined the victim needed surgery, so he was transported by paramedics to another area hospital.
