Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7600 Beechnut Street about 12:05 a.m. last Friday (Dec. 22).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detective M. Castillo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting victim dropped of at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital at the above address. The male had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
Investigators learned an unknown female dropped off the victim and then left the hospital.
The location of the shooting incident has not been confirmed at this time. There is no known motive or suspect information.
