Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 7800 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 8:40 on Saturday (Dec. 23).
The deceased male is identified as Benjamin Keys, 64.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer C. Moralez reported:
A white Infiniti QX60 was traveling northbound at the above address when a tan Chevrolet Venture, traveling westbound on Willow Glen Drive, failed to yield right of way at a stop sign. The Infiniti then struck the Chevrolet.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the driver of the Chevrolet (Mr. Keys) to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him deceased.
The male driver, 17, of the Infiniti remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired. He was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
