Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 4000 Market Street about 12:20 a.m. today (June 9).
The identity of the victim, 63, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Sharp and E. May reported:
Officers responded to a person down call at the above address and as they attempted to render aid to the man, they observed he had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, there is no known witness, suspect(s) or motive in the shooting.
