UPDATE: Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting at 6100 Grosbeak Drive

Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect vehicle possibly involved in the fatal shooting of a man in the 6100 block of Grosbeak Drive about 5:40 p.m. on May 29.

The vehicle is described as an older model, white minivan or cargo van, possibly a Chevrolet Astro or GMC Safari, with damage to the front grill area.  Surveillance video of the van can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/LldqQytAhv4

The victim, Hector Adame, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Thompson and L. Patterson reported:

HPD officers responded to a shooting call at horse stables at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Adame sitting in a chair, fatally shot.  A witness stated two suspects, described only as Hispanic males with medium builds, drove up in a van and started shooting at Adame.   Adame unsuccessfully attempted to return fire and the suspects fled the scene.

Surveillance video shows the van in the area of the intersection of Grosbeak Drive and Linnet Lane prior to the shooting.  The van is seen driving off Grosbeak onto Linnet Lane and parking for a brief time.  The van then drives back down Grosbeak to where the shooting occurred and then leaves the area, traveling toward Airport Boulevard.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the wanted vehicle or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
