| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11960 Airline about 9:30 a.m. today (July 19).
The identity of the victim, 46, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an apartment at the above address and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Investigators were advised the suspect attempted to rob a second person inside the apartment after shooting the victim.
The suspect is described only as a light skin black male, between 25 to 30 years old, wearing a long sleeve green shirt with dark colored pants. He has long black locks that were tied up behind his head.
