Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on a deceased individual found at 8900 Brae Acres Road about 9:05 a.m. today (July 19).
The identity of the individual is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective D. Stark reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a call of a possible body found in a roadside ditch at the above address. Officers found the body was wrapped in a black blanket, duct taped, then wrapped in a red sheet.
At this time, the gender, race, and age of the deceased individual are unknown. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
