WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: August 8, 2023, at 6:33 a.m.
WHERE: 9100 block of Pembrook St. 77016.
INJURIES: One firefighter transported to the hospital.

DAMAGE: $80,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and completed a primary search. Crews protected nearby exposures and the fire was extinguished. One firefighter was transported after becoming weak on scene. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 32, 15, 34, 45, 39, 43, 56 and 30.
