WHEN: April 30, 2023 at 2:08 a.m.
WHERE: 9000 block of Lockwood Dr. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $77,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a vacant 1-story house totally involved on fire and made a defensive attack. They protected the nearby homes and insured the occupants were all accounted for and safe. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. HPD was requested for traffic control. Firefighters from Stations 15, 19, 34, 32, 39, 43, 56 and 30 responded to this incident.
