WHERE: 8300 block of Comal St. 77051.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $194,718 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $12,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find light smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and contained the fire to the laundry room with fire damage around the water heater. Everyone was safely out of the home. Crews from Stations 21, 46, 24, 35 and 55 responded to this incident.
