WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: July 27, 2022 at 5:59 p.m.
WHERE: 7700 block of Redding Rd. 77036.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $180,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $70,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find fire coming the room of a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They rescued a cat from the home and extinguished the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 83, 82, 68, 73 and 51 responded to this incident.
