WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: March 7, 2024, at 10:50 a.m.
WHERE: 9000 block of Klondike St. 77075.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $180,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find heavy fire at the front of a house involving storage in the yard. They made a defensive attack, protected the nearby exposures, and controlled the utilities. Firefighters faced challenges related to limited egress on the exterior and inside of the house. The fire was controlled, and foam was used to fully extinguish the deep-seated fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 61 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 93, 23, 26, 46, 70, 29, 52, 55, 61, 58, 36, 24, Hazmat and Rehab 17.
