WHERE: 100 block of E. 24th St. 77008.

CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from the attic vents of a 1-story house and made entry into the attic through the front porch. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. The fire was controlled with the resident reporting electrical issues prior to the fire. Crews from Stations 15, 6, 31, 11, 62 and 30 responded to this incident.
