DAMAGE: $5,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from the front chimney wall of a house. They opened the wall and extinguished a fire found between the studs. Once the fire was controlled, crews conducted overhaul and ventilated the smoke from the home. Firefighters from Stations 21, 59, 68, 48, 80 and 24 responded to this incident.
