WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 31, 2024, at 5:01 p.m.
WHERE: 3800 Dalmatian Dr. 77045.
INJURIES: One civilian treated on scene.
PROPERTY SAVED: $175,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $125,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find fire coming from a house and quickly controlled the fire. They conducted a primary search, and one citizen was treated on scene by HFD EMS. The utilities were controlled, and CenterPoint was notified. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 80, 2, 21, 59, 47, 55 and 24.
