WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: November 27, 2022 at 4:02 a.m.
WHERE: 7200 block of Evans St. 77061.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $132,240 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $125,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a house and two vehicles on fire. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the home. Once the fire was controlled, a primary and secondary search were completed with no one found. The utilities were secured with the main electric feed down and energized. Foam was also applied to a small gasoline leak from one of the vehicles. Firefighters pulled ceiling and interior walls and ensured the fire was completely extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 46, 29, 35, 36 and 24 responded to this incident.
