WHEN: November 27, 2022 at 6:54 p.m.
WHERE: 6100 block of Willow Glen Dr. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $134,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE$7,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find smoke coming from the outside of a house. Crews found and extinguished a fire inside the home. There were multiple electric cords plugged in to extensions and an extension cord servicing electronics. The area of origin was where the cabin electronics were placed. Firefighters conducted a primary search, overhaul and ventilated the home. Crews from Stations 26, 46, 35, 36, 40, 55 and 24 responded to this incident.
