WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: December 23, 2022 at 2:45 a.m.
WHERE: 16800 block of Green Quail Dr. 77489.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $125,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $275,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the second floor and through the roof of a 2-story house. The occupants were reported to be out of the home. Crews made a defensive attack and after controlling the fire switched to an offensive attack. The fire was extinguished, and the American Red Cross was contacted to assist the family. Firefighters from Stations 2, 59, 68, 48, 73, 80, 21 and 24 responded to this incident.
