WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: November 20, 2023, at 3:12 p.m.
WHERE: 3700 block of Kingston Vale Dr. 77082.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $350,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $250,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation, appears to be accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a 1-story house on fire and made an offensive attack. Before the roof could be ventilated, fire burned through it. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. The home had extensive damage to part of the home and smoke damage throughout. 27 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 78, 83, 75, 76 and 57.
