WHERE: 7800 block of Dewitt Rd. 77028.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $110,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $110,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. The home was ventilated, and the utilities were secured. The fire was extinguished with the occupants accounted for and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 34, 15, 35, 45, 20, 32, 39, 41, 43, 56, 19 and 30.
