WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: December 31, 2022 at 5:10 p.m.
WHERE: 14400 block of Quention Dr. 77045.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $217,800 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $7,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from the attic of the garage in a 1-story house and made an attack, extinguishing the fire. It appeared the fire originated from the exterior of the garage. The power was turned off to the home and the residents were advised to have an electrician inspect and make necessary repairs prior to turning the power back on. Crews from Stations 21, 59, 47, 80, 55 and 24 responded to this incident.
