WHAT: Residential garage fire.
WHEN: December 31, 2022 at 10:01 p.m.
WHERE: 15700 block of Homebriar Court, 77489.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $210,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a residential garage fully involved on fire. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was brought under control. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 82, 2, 59, 68, 47, 48, 80, 21, 51 and 24 responded to this incident.
