PROPERTY SAVED: $265,210 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $35,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find the occupants of a 2-story residence attempting to extinguish a fire with a water hose. The crews made an attack on the fire and pulled ceiling on the porch. A primary search was completed with everyone safely outside the home. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished with no extension found on the second floor. HFD Arson Investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 2, 68, 83, 57, 73, 75 and 76 responded to this incident.
