WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 800 block of Fortune, 77088
INJURIES: One firefighter treated on scene.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes find fire coming from the corner of a 1-story house, extending to the attached carport area. A neighbor had attempted to extinguish the fire with a water hose prior to HFDs arrival. Crews began an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The home was ventilated, and the utilities were secured. The fire was extinguished, and one firefighter was treated on scene by HFD EMS. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 15, 4, 31, 58, 67, 31 and 30 responded to this incident.
