WHAT: Fire in parking garage.
WHEN: December 8, 2022 at 4:10 a.m.
WHERE: 3101 Smith St. 77006.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators have determined the cause as incendiary.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a large amount of smoke coming from a parking garage. They began an attack on the fire involving a vehicle and shut down the sprinkler head system which had activated. The building management personal were advised as to what systems had been taken out of service. The crews extinguished the fire and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 7, 6, 8, 16, 9 and 30 responded to this incident.
