INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $60,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators have determined the cause as incendiary.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within a minute to find heavy smoke coming from a converted store front. They made an attack and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The Houston Police Department was also notified. Crews from Stations 36, 29, 61 and 24 responded to this incident.
