DAMAGE: $25,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fire and smoke coming from the back of a 1-story commercial building. They made an offensive attack and found a detached storage building on fire. They conducted a primary and secondary search and extinguished the fire. The origin appeared to be from a window air conditioning unit. Firefighters from Stations 38, 31, 15, 5, 11, 62 and 30 responded to this incident.
