INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $100,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire in a unit of a 2-story apartment building and made a defensive attack on the fire. The fire was controlled and extinguished. The building was abandoned with a history of fires and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of this fire. 29 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 5, 49, 57, 69, 77, 78 and the Village Fire Department.
