CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (carelessly discarded smoking materials).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from an unenclosed patio of an apartment. They exposed the wood frame of the wall and disconnected the utilities to the unit. The crews extinguished the fire and contained it to the area of origin. Firefighters from Stations 70, 71, 61, 72, 93, 94 and 24 responded to this incident.
