| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8400 Westpark Drive about 10 a.m. today (March 5).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The driver of a gray Honda Pilot was traveling eastbound, when he made an unsafe lane change and was struck by a gray Toyota Camry, also traveling eastbound on Westpark. The impact caused the Honda to strike a concrete pillar.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. Two male passengers in the Honda were transported to an area hospital in critical but stable conditions. The driver of the Camry was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released, pending further investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
