WHAT: 2-Alarm Apartment Fire.

INJURIES: One firefighter transported to the hospital.

DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from the second story balcony of a 2-story apartment building. A second alarm was requested, and they made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished. One firefighter was transported to the hospital due to abnormal vitals during rehab. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 2, 5, 6, 31, 4, 5, 13, 38, 50, 62, 66, 67, 77, 8, 15, 30, 57 and Rehab responded to this incident.
