CAUSE: Unintentional (heat source too close to combustible).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fire on the third floor of a 3-story apartment building and made an offensive attack. Crews forced entry into the unit and found smoke with poor visibility. A primary search was completed with a small dog found and safely removed. The fire was being controlled by sprinklers and firefighters fully extinguished it with a pump can. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 60, 5, 28, 2, 51, 69, 57 and the Village Fire Department.
