WHAT: Warehouse Fire.
WHEN: October 30, 2022 at 9:22 p.m.
WHERE: 6010 Saint Augustine St. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $640,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a warehouse. They made an offensive attack and forced entry. The structure was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. HFD Hazmat monitored the air and identified the chemicals. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 26, 46, 25, 35, 40, 33, 24, Rescue 42 and Hazmat 22 responded to this incident.
