WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: October 30, 2022 at 4:08 p.m.
WHERE: 900 block of Boyles St. 77020.
INJURIES: One firefighter treated on scene for leg injury, remained on duty.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a fully involved 1-story house. They made a defensive attack, and a downed powerline was cordoned off. Once the fire was controlled, crews entered and extinguished the remaining hotspots inside the home. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. One firefighter injured their leg and was treated and evaluated on scene, remaining on-duty. Crews from Stations 41, 19, 20, 27, 42, 18, 37, 30 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
