WHAT: Vacant house fire.
WHEN: December 17, 2022 at 11:10 a.m.
WHERE: 6300 block of Beekman Rd. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $60,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $40,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from the roof of a vacant house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed and the fire in the attic was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators and the Houston Police Department were requested with the person who started the fire on scene. Firefighters from Stations 23, 26, 46, 18, 35, 40 and 24 responded to this incident.
