Houston police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle of interest in the shooting of a juvenile male at 10591 Emnora Lane about 6 p.m. on May 25.
The victim, 16, sustained a gunshot wound to the right arm. He was treated at an area hospital and then released.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Cimeni reported:
The victim was sitting in the front right passenger seat of a vehicle driven by his father on the 610 North Loop (North Interstate Highway 610 West) approaching U.S. Highway 290. The victim’s father stated he was driving in the left lane and passing a black Chevrolet Tahoe travelling in the right lane. As they were passing the Tahoe, the father stated he had heard a loud bang and said the victim told him he had been shot in the arm. The father then drove the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The black Tahoe is further described as a 2004-05 model, with tinted windows and black rims.
