Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of three men at 8210 Scott Street about 11:40 p.m. on August 10.
The suspect, Ronnie Anthony Davis (b/m, ), is charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon in the 209th State District Court. He is wanted for his role in the shooting. A booking photo of Davis is not available at this time.
The victims, Anthony Curry, 29, Mitchell Pennie, 25, and Andre Madison, 33, were all transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers R. Naughton and V. Habukiha reported:
Messrs. Curry, Pennie and Madison were outside a convenience store at the above address when two suspects approached and began talking with them. The suspects then began firing shots at the victims and fled in a vehicle later located at an apartment complex in the 8300 block of Canyon Street. A witness from the vehicle was interviewed and also taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound.
Further investigation identified Davis as one of the suspects in this case and he was charged on Wednesday (Sept. 4).
