Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1050 West Rankin Road about 3:25 a.m. today (Sept. 5).
The victim, Burnell Breaux, 46, was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to be released later today.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Graf and B. Salazar reported:
Mr. Breaux was sitting in his vehicle outside a nightclub at the above address when the suspect, a patron at the club, started firing shots at Breaux. There was no known verbal or physical altercation between Breaux and the suspect prior to the shooting. Paramedics transported Breaux to the hospital.
