Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 925 Bunker Hill Road about 1:15 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 14).
The suspect, Dionate D. Banks, 29, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. A photo of Banks, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Gregory Shead, 24.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and M. Condon reported: Mr. Shead and a suspect got into an altercation outside a bowling alley at the above address. During the altercation, the suspect fatally shot Shead. The suspect, described only as a black male, fled the scene. Further investigation led to the identity of the suspect as Banks and he was subsequently charged.
